Greene County Human Services - Medical Assistance Transportation Program
Provides non-emergency transportation to medical services (doctor visits, hospital visits, dental, prescriptions, behavioral health, mental health, drug and alcohol treatment, etc.) Individuals and families who qualify for the Medical Access card are eligible to use the Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) for trips to and from medical appointments or for authorized medical services.

Eligibility: Greene county residents who receive Medical Assistance; who receive a state disability payment or seniors 65 years of age or older.

Intake Requirements: Clients must fill out an application for the appropriate funding source that they are eligible for.
Intake Procedure: Ride scheduling is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Transportation services are offered Monday through Friday. Calls to schedule appointments for transportation services must be made no later than noon on the day before a requested ride, and before noon Friday for Monday
Fee Amounts: There are no fees for MATP. Co-pays are required for other programs and the co-pay depends on distance traveled.; Shared Ride fares
Helpful Tips: All out-of-county trips are for medical appointments scheduled between 10am and 2pm.
