Habitat for Humanity Allegheny Valley - A Brush with Kindness
Offers no-interest loans to pay for materials for minor exterior home repairs that will be done by volunteers. Repairs provided by volunteers include exterior painting, landscaping, accessible ramp repair, and other minor exterior repairs offered at the discretion of the agency. Labor is free of charge and the no-interest loan is used for the cost of building supplies.

Eligibility: Applicants must own the home they live in; their income must be between 30 percent and 60 percent of the median income in their community; they must be willing to help with the repairs; and they must be able to repay the loan.
