Amputees for Amputees
A telephone support and mentoring program that provides ongoing support to amputees. AFA's goal is to make the transition back into the mainstream as easy as possible and to let amputees know they are not alone. Mentors are amputees themselves and have gone through a training program. New members are always welcome. Call for more information. Presently serving Northern Maryland, Harrisburg, York, and Lancaster areas. Three ACA trained peer visitors.
