Staying Connected, Jewish Family Services of York
Staying connected is an interfaith volunteer program that supports seniors striving to live independently. Services include:
  • Escorted transportation for medical appointments and other essential trips
    • Grocery shopping, banking
    • Advocacy and referrals to community agencies
    • Unbiased medical counseling in conjunction with the County's APPRISE program.

    Eligibility: 60 or older and residing in York City, York Suburban, Dallastown area or central York School Districts. Those needing transportation must be able to walk with a cane or walker (or unaided)
