Lawrence County Community Action Partnership
Lawrence County Community Action Partnership - Persons with Disabilities Program (PwD)
Through the Shared-Ride Program for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), clients who are between the ages of 18 and 65 and have a documented disability are able to ride the ACTS buses for a reduced fare. This service offers clients door to door service for their transportation needs. Many riders use this service to travel to work, shopping, and medical locations. Riders may ride with ACTS to any location within the service area, although, the PwD Sponsor cannot be used in place of trips that are sponsored by another program. The Pennsylvania Lottery will pay up to 85% of the cost of the trip while the remaining balance will be paid by the client
