Shelter provides a safe and healthy environment for animals. Services include adoptions, a foster program, animal vaccination clinics and a low-cost spay/neuter program. Also provides 24 hour rescue and emergency assistance to homeless animals in distress. Trained investigator checks out all reports of cruelty or abuse and prosecutes when warranted. Volunteer opportunities are available -- volunteers, age 12-17, must be accompanied by a parent. Donations of animal care items and pet food are accepted anytime.
