The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its congressional charter and the fundamental principles of the international Red Cross movement, will provide relief to victims of disaster, and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. Provides:
  • Blood to hospitals</>
    • Disaster relief services - available 24 hours-a-day</>
    • Communications for members of the armed forces and their families - available 24 hours-a-day</>
    • Community disaster preparedness and prevention education programs</>
    • Health & safety education: CPR, first aid, pet first aid, babysitter's training, preventing disease transmission, automatic external defibrillator</>
    • Health & safety and disaster education for youth</>
    • Nurse aid testing 2x a week</>
    • Volunteer opportunities</>
    • Red Cross school clubs</>
