Helps pregnant women, new mothers, and children up to age 5 learn about nutrition, make healthy food choices, and improve overall health. Participants receive education on infant and child feeding, breast feeding, child development information and assessments, and vouchers to purchase healthy foods at grocery stores and local farmers markets.

Eligibility: Must meet income guidelines. Households with incomes at or below 185% of the federal poverty income level are eligible. WIC determines income based on gross income of all the members of a household, related or non-related. If you are pregnant, count your unborn baby in family size.
