MHA - Mental Health Advocacy, Education and Support
**NOTES** Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm at 717-397-7461. Most services and program are free of charge. Click here for Coronavirus Information Provides information and support concerning mental and emotional illnesses, primarily at no cost. This includes guidance to mental health services, education, family and individual advocacy; as well as referrals to local psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, and therapists. Offers advocacy and PEER support for individuals with a mental illness- including this support for family members. No diagnosis required- we can help you obtain one. Presentations and education offered for schools, clubs, employers, businesses and community groups on anything related to mental health. Makes referrals for anger management and community support groups. Free Mental Health Support Groups. Leads the Lancaster County Suicide Prevention Coalition. Ask about the financial assistance programs currently available through MHA and its' partners, as well as programs for working/non-working residents who don't have access to employer assistance plans.

Eligibility: Any individuals or families who are residents of Lancaster County who need help with mental health or illness. No diagnosis required. Any business, school and organization can contact MHA for anything mental health related.

Fee Amounts: Most services and programs do not have a cost. Sponsors and donations make this fee structure a reality for Lancaster County residents.
Facility/ADA access: MHA is on the second floor of an office building. There currently is not an elevator or lift to assist residents to the second floor.
