The Basic Literacy program serves adults who are seeking to improve reading, writing, spelling, and math skills. Adults in this program may have a goal of obtaining the General Educational Development (GED) test, or may wish to improve their reading, math and life skills. Needs are addressed on an individual as-needed basis. Provides free, confidential tutoring to adults who wish to improve their reading, writing, spelling, math, and/or English as a second language. Students are matched with trained volunteer tutors who meet with them in a community location once or twice a week.
