Intake Requirements: By appointment with the Kennel Manager - Call or email
Intake Procedure: The first step in our adoption process is to fill out our Adoption Application online, at the shelter, or print out the paper application and fax, email, or bring the application along when you come to meet the many wonderful animals we have available for adoption. Application processing takes an average of 2-3 business days to make a decision, depending upon how long it takes for us to hear back from references, landlords if applicable, etc. We ask for your patience and understanding during this time, as our number one priority is to find the right placement for our animals. Once your application has been approved, you can then choose which pet you’d like to make part of your family.

All individuals living in your household are required to meet the pet before adopting, and dog-to-dog meet and greets are also required. If approved, you will be able to take that animal home for a 2 week foster period to afford the animal time to decompress from shelter life and allow their true personalities to come out. You’ll get to know them, they’ll get to know you, and you can determine if they are the right pet for you. If they are, come back in on the scheduled day to finalize their adoption.

If, for whatever reason, they are not the right pet, bring them back during the Foster period, and we will find them another home.
Fee Amounts: Fixed fees for adoption of pets
