Arc of Crawford County - Main Office - Lifesharing
The Family Living Program matches adults or children with the label of intellectual and or developmental disability with a family/person in the community to live together as a family unit, or in some cases companions. In addition to providing a good home, the host family or companion (which are called providers), actively participates in supporting the person in cultivating self-care, social skills, and communication skills. The providers are also responsible for health and safety needs. Through doing this, the providers assist the individuals in becoming an active member of the community.
