Norristown State Hospital - Social Work
Each patient has an assigned Social Worker, who compiles a psychosocial assessment of the individual and assists him or her in resolving situational needs that arise. The Social Worker collaborates with the treatment team to develop a treatment and discharge plan, and if needed, helps each patient apply for benefits.
