Armstrong County Victim/Witness Services - Victim / Witness Counseling
Provide basic "Victim Rights" as required by PCCD; Court Accompaniment;Courtroom Orientation;Intake;Assistance in filing for Victims Compensation Assistance;Crisis Intervention and Referral.Notify Victims of Case status,Assist Victims in registering through PA SAVIN or OVA,to be notified of an offenders release/transfer/escape/death,from county jail or state prison. Assistance in preparing a victim impact statement and/or claim form for restitution.Schedule and accompany victims and/or families to meetings with the District Attorney or one of the Assistant District Attorneys.Assist in helping Victims when there is Harassment/Intimidation.
