PATH (People Acting To Help) - Adolescent Outpatient Substance Abuse Program
You will meet privately with a professionally credentialed clinician who will listen to your concerns.
Your clinician will help you identify areas in your life that you would like to change.
You and the clinician will develop a plan to achieve these changes.
Your plan will usually include the clinician meeting regularly with you individually as well as meeting with you and your family.
You and your family will be supported by the clinician as you take actions to bring about these changes.
The clinician will arrange for you to see a PATH psychiatrist if indicated..
You and your family will meet with the psychiatrist who will complete an evaluation and may prescribe medication for you, if indicated.
You may continue to see both the psychiatrist for medication appointments and see the clinician for therapy.
