Nutrition education and food resource management education for the resource stressed SNAP-ED eligible audience.

Offers families and youth with limited resources FREE research-based lessons designed to help them develop the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve a healthful diet on a limited budget.

Eligibility: SNAP-ED eligible folks frequent- work ready programs, food pantries, etc.

Program is limited to parents/caregivers with children under the age of 18 who are eligible for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits (previously known as food stamps), WIC, public assistance, free/reduced school meals. They need to be < 185% of poverty level. Low-income youth are also eligible.
Hours: Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
Our physical office site is NOT our programming site. We partner with community members and use their facilities in the neighborhoods were potential clients live.

This is determined on a case by case basis. Flyers are created to promote our programs but most participants are personally recruited to our classes by our staff.

Programming is also provided for senior citizens and adults without children who are eligible for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits (previously known as food stamps), and public assistance.
