Associated Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired - Rehabilitation Services
Rehabilitation Services provides clients with the skills needed to remain independent in the community. By helping clients improve their ability in areas such as activities of daily living, interpersonal communication skills, computer use, and orientation & mobility, the Rehab Dept works with the client to help them regain/obtain a level of independence lost since they experienced diminished eyesight.

Eligibility: Visual Requirements (must have at least one):

*Visual acuity of 20/70 or poorer in better-seeing eye that cannot be corrected or improved with regular eyeglasses
*Corresponding loss of visual fields
*Progressive sight threatening eye diseases, such as diabetes
*Diagnosis of a degenerative eye or sight disorder
*18 or older
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
