Philadelphia Housing Authority (PHA) Youth Programs
Early Childhood Programs:
Children ages three to 12 years old are eligible to participate in programs such as Head Start, day care, after school care, and other education programs from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m Monday through Friday. Seven sites throughout Philadelphia offer these services. Call (215) 684-1061 for details.

Skills for Life:
This program offers children ages 14 and older opportunities to learn about careers, receive tutoring, learn about and use computers and get summer employment. Call (215) 684-1196 for details.

Summer Youth Employment – Agri-Explore:
This program offers summer employment for 14 to 21 year olds who will work with the Summer Food Program. Call (215) 684-1196 for details.

Recreation, Education and Cultural Arts After School Programs:
Enroll children eight to 13 years old in Freedom Theater, Philly Moves, and/or the Family Service Center, which offers tutoring, instruction in the performing arts, and computer training after school. Sites are located throughout Philadelphia. Call (215) 684-1196 for details.

Summer Food Service Program:
This program operates at more than 25 PHA sites, and provides breakfast and lunch to youth ages five - 18. Call (215) 684-1164 for information.
