Advises and represents low-income citizens’ family, housing and economic legal problems, especially those of an emergency nature. Works with clients to improve their ability to be self-sufficient through obtaining and/or enforcing their rights to necessary economic, employment, housing, medical and other public resources. Legal services include Protection From Abuse, family law, consumer law, housing, public assistance, unemployment compensation, and mortgage foreclosure avoidance.

Eligibility: 125% of the federal poverty guidelines, except: employment and public assistance matters: 187.5%; and PFA petitioners: no income limit.
