Byrnes Health Education Center
The Byrnes Health Education Center is dedicated to educating and inspiring people of all ages to make healthy choices. The Center offers over 130 preventive health education programs offered in four different platforms: outreach; on campus in one of our five dynamic and interacting teaching theaters; via webcast; and online learning. The Center's exceptionally qualified health educators present preventive health programs to both children and adults covering subjects such as nutrition and fitness, substance abuse, preventive bullying programs and mental health. Byrnes Health Education Center programs are science based and are mapped to National and State education standards. Programs are continually reviewed by a Curriculum Committee that is comprised of health and education experts.
