United Neighborhood Centers - Emergency Services
UNC provides assistance to individuals and families who are facing food insecurities, utility crises, or who need help obtaining other basic needs.
Some of the programs included in this grant include: birth certificates, bus tickets, bus passes, rental assistance, utility/energy assistance, gasoline cards, Pennsylvania identification and prescription assistance.

Intake Requirements: Following a general assessment, an intake worker allocates appropriate services such as advocacy, referral, and financial assistance, to help fulfill client's immediate needs. Allocation of services also serves a secondary function to help families achieve self-sufficiency in the long run.
