USDA Rural Development Energy Programs - Butler County Office
Possible funds include those for completing energy audits and feasibility studies, completing energy efficiency improvements, and installing renewable energy systems. They have programs that help convert older heating sources to cleaner technologies, produce advanced biofuels, install flexible fuel pumps, install solar panels, build biorefineries, and others. Options include grants, guaranteed loans and payments.
One of the four programs, Rural Energy for America, provides assistance to agricultural producers and rural small businesses to complete a variety of projects, including renewable energy systems, energy efficiency improvements, renewable energy development, energy audits, and feasibility studies.
