FREE Basic Tax Help By Community Volunteers
The VITA Program offers free tax help to low-and-moderate-income residents in our community.

Program runs February-April every year.

To ensure the safety of you and our volunteers, the VITA Program will run from Feb. 15, 2022 through April 9th, 2022 and will be entirely APPOINTMENT ONLY this year. 15-minute appointment slots are available every Tuesday from 10 am – 6 pm. We are requiring all appointments be scheduled in advance. No walk-in’s are available. Appointments can be made starting February 1, 2022.

Location of tax drop-offs and pick-ups.-- Please come to the United Way of Columbia and Montour Counties office located at 36 East Main St., Bloomsburg, PA 17815 (to the left of the Fog and Flame café). There is metered parking in front of and behind the building. Please wear a mask.

Eligibility: Open for individuals with annualy income of $57,000 or less.

Intake Requirements: WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
Form W-2, W-2G, 1099-R, 1099-MISC, 1099-INT, SSA-1099
or any other issued documentation. Photo ID and Social Security Cards for you, your spouse,
and/or dependents. A copy of last year’s tax return. Bank routing numbers and account numbers for direct
deposit. Day care expenses with the providers EIN and amount paid. Any other relevant information about income and expense.
