Veterans Multi-Service Center - Supportive Services for Veteran Families - VMC - Downingtown
SSVF provides comprehensive Supportive Services to very low income Veterans and their families who are currently experiencing homelessness or are at risk of losing their homes.

Resources include case management, housing counseling, legal support, credit repair and financial planning services, and time-limited, temporary financial assistance.

Eligible veterans may receive time-limited financial assistance for rent, utilities, and security deposits. SSVF offers short-term case management that links Veterans with resources within the Veterans Administration and the community with the ultimate goal of stabilizing veterans in housing.

Transportation to and from the Coatesville VA Medical Center
Internet employment application assistance
Training courses such at ServSafe and basic computer skills
Personal/life skill courses such as budgeting (offered by Clarifi)

Eligibility: Veterans who have a discharge that is other than dishonorable, and have at least one day of active duty service time.

Intake Requirements: Veteran
Intake Procedure: Those in need of utility or basic needs assistance that already receive a HUDvash (voucher) from VA must contact their case manager. If a Veteran and not receiving voucher Operation Cecilia will reach out to to veteran organizations as case management on your behalf.
