VSC Community Education Programs
Education and awareness are the first steps toward prevention of serious crimes, such as child abuse, sexual violence and sexual harassment. VSC provides educational programs for students, parents and professionals at schools, workplaces, community centers, etc.
Programs such as:
- Risk reduction/safety education programs for children from pre-k to college age
- Safety Rangers, a 10 week after school safety education program
- College, community and professional training to law enforcement, medical personnel, community centers, teachers, etc.
- Mandated Reporter Training approved for schools by the PA Department of Education to meet ACT 126 Mandatory Reporter Training Requirements for educators.
By educating both children and adults, VSC strives to create a safe society free from violence. By increasing awareness and communication, our educational programs can help to reduce the risk of crime in your school and your community.

Eligibility: VSC serves all residents of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania regardless of age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender or income level.
Hours: Education programs and professional trainings are available Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
