Big Brothers Big Sisters of York and Adams Counties
Community-based mentoring program: Traditional youth mentoring program for children ages 6 to 13 years old, who are primarily from a single parent home. "Bigs" and "Littles" enjoy one-to-one outings and activities in the community. Youth who are enrolled in the program before age 13, may stay in the program until they are 18 years of age.

SMART Program: The school-based mentoring program SMART stands for Students and Mentors Achieving Results Together. The high school or college mentors in the program help their Littles do their homework, read stories, play games, eat snacks, and be a positive role-model and friend. The elementary students and mentors are paired one-on-one to get to know each other and to build a positive relationship.

For a list of participating schools, contact Donna at 717-843-0051.

Special Mentoring Programs: Includes African American mentoring, Hispanic mentoring, Native American mentoring and a mentoring program for children with parents in the military.

Amachi Program: A special mentoring program for children with a parent who is incarcerated.
