Volunteers of America - Ruth's Place Women's Shelter
Provides safe, temporary and short-term community shelter for women experiencing homelessness in Luzerne.
Coordinates and collaborates with other service providers and volunteers to assure the provision of services that address their basic physical, financial, health and spiritual needs; and assists sheltered guests to form and follow a permanent housing plan to quickly achieve stable, long-term housing.

Intake Requirements: Ruth's Place can only accept new clients on a day that the Mckinney Clinic (570-825-0881) is opened as they now require a full medical screening due to Covid-19 issues.
