Washington County BHDS - Early Intervention
Early Intervention (EI) provides supports and services to infants, toddlers and young children up to three years of age who have a developmental delay or are at risk for developmental delay. EI is designed to build and enhance the natural learning that occurs in the early years and strive to improve long-term outcomes for children by providing early, appropriate, and intensive interventions in the home, child care site, and other community settings identified by the family.

Assessment/Case Management - includes evaluation of the problem, development, implementation and monitoring of a service plan, referral to other agencies, and periodic review of the service plan to insure that it meets the person's needs.
