Westmoreland County Transit Authority - Persons with Disabilities Program (PwD)
The goals of the PwD program are to provide shared-ride service for persons who have a disability and are ages 18 to 64, living in Westmoreland County, and needing transportation to or from an area not served by existing transportation services.

Eligibility: Eligibility is determined through application.
Hours: Office for registration and trip scheduling: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
Trips can be taken: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 7:00pm; Saturday 7:00am to 4:00pm

Intake Requirements: Application must be completed by both the applicant and by a health care provider and returned to Westmoreland Transit. Applications are reviewed and eligibility is based on the diagnosed disability.
Intake Procedure: Call and request a PwD application

Helpful Tips: Reservations can be made up to two weeks in advance, but must be scheduled by the day before by noon.
