Whosoever Gospel Mission and Rescue Program - New Life Program
Provides for the basic needs of disadvantaged men experiencing homelessness and also equips them with the skills and resources they need to achieve a fulfilling life, a lifestyle of recovery from addiction, a good job, permanent housing, and long-term success as productive, contributing members of our community.

Eligibility: A man must be 18 years or older, in fairly good health, and looking to reenter the workforce.
Hours: Intake: Monday to Friday between 10:00am - 4:00pm.

Intake Requirements: Positive ID required (although exceptions are made). A man can either call the Mission or stop by to inquire about the New Life Program. An initial interview will take place to determine if the man is eligible for and interested in being admitted into the New Life Program.
Intake Procedure: When a man wants to enroll in the New Life Program, he will meet with one of our counselors to complete the initial paperwork. The New Life Program will be reviewed with him, questions answered, a bed assigned, and a copy of the New Life Program handbook given to him.
Geographical Area: The Greater Philadelphia area although men have traveled across the country to enter our New Life Program.
Fee Amounts: The New Life Program is free. There is no cost to come into the New Life Program.
Wait List: At times there is a wait list, but not always.
Facility/ADA access: The dormitories are on the 3rd and 4th floor. You need to be mobile and able to climb stairs.

Public Transportation: SEPTA buses and a commuter train will drop you off close to the Mission.
Capacity Limitations: 55 beds is our capacity.
Insurance Accepted: Our services are provided without charge so there is no need for insurance to be admitted to the New Life Program.
