York County Food Bank, Warehouse and Distribution Center for Local Food Pantries, Senior Centers and Qualified Non-Profits
The York County Food Bank collects, stores, & sends surplus food to approximately 130 food pantries, senior centers and other non-profit organizations for distribution to needy, ill, elderly, those in half-way houses, children, infants, and camp programs in York County. The Food Bank charges approximately 19 cents per pound to cover expenses. Food is not for resale, nor given directly to individuals except for very specific program.
