Blueprints – Family Literacy
Clients can enroll in classes to help parents improve both their literacy and parenting skills while providing young children with early childhood education. Includes Adult Education component (GED preparation, reading, writing, problem-solving, math skills, ESL), Parenting Education (helps parents actively participate in education at home and school), and Early Childhood Education (through involvement with Early Head Start, Head Start, and Pre K Counts programs). Caseworker will work with parents to coordinate future plans and resources (i.e., for GED testing, preparing for post-secondary education, or obtaining a job/career exploration).

Intake Requirements: Families must have one or more children ages birth to third grade; parents must be age 17 or older; families must be residents of Washington or Greene Counties.
