Family Promise of SCC - Post-Diversion Program
Provides case management services and a homeless diversion program for families who are in doubled-up or self-pay hotel situations. Once admitted to program, some financial assistance may be available for car repair, small educational loans, specialized clothing for work, pet-care, and move-in costs.

Eligibility: •Families who are currently without their own home, and living in "doubled-up" situations, or self-pay hotel.


•Families that have one or more children or are currently pregnant.


•Individuals must reside as a family and consider themselves a family unit.


•No history of domestic violence for at least 2 months


•No drug or alcohol abuse for at least 6 months
.



Available for Southern Chester County residents as defined by the following school districts Avon Grove, Kennett, Oxford, and Unionville-Chadds Ford. We also work with families from the southern parts of the Coatesville, Octorara, and West Chester school districts.

Languages Spoken: Access to a Spanish speaking interpreter.
Public Transportation: Currently mostly remote.
Helpful Tips: Clients must be willing to enter case management program, which means setting goals, providing reports to Case Manager regarding progress, sharing financial information, and actively pursuing goals.
