York County Area Agency on Aging - Caregiver Support Program
Provides financial relief to caregivers who care for an older, functionally dependent adult or other adult relative with chronic dementia.

Provides reimbursement for purchase of services and supplies, reducing the burden, both financially and time-wise, on caregiver.

Reimbursement depends on the care needs of the older adult and the household income where the older adult resides.

Reimbursable services include, but are not limited to:
  • Respite care
    • Personal care
    • Day care
    • Incontinence supplies
    • Nutritional supplements
    • Lifeline units

  • Caregivers over age 18 who reside with or provide regular care for a disabled adult over the age of 60 or an adult of any age with chronic dementia.

    • Families who meet the financial guidelines of the program based on household income.
