Volunteers of America - Caring Alternative Pregnancy Counseling
Programming for women of any age who are facing an unplanned pregnancy. Pregnant/expectant women, mothers and fathers with children up to age one can receive necessary baby items, a support system and access to resources from prenatal to postpartum. Services are typically provided through home visits. Programming includes a baby pantry which provides the provision of diapers and formula. Other programming services include assistance in applying for employment, information about higher education and transportation to doctor's appointments. Program also acts as a link between expectant/new mothers and fathers and community based resources.
