The office of the Register and Recorder in Bradford County is the official recorder of deeds, mortgages, power of attorneys, satisfaction pieces, oil leases, ordinances, assignments and releases of mortgage.
This office is responsible for the administration of:
Recorder of Wills.
Recorder of Deeds.
Marriage licenses.
Adoptions.
Relinquishments.
Settlements.
Guardianships.
Birth and death records (1893 through 1905).
Genealogy letters (several hundred a year).
Deed and mortgage indexes (available on the computer back to 1970.
