If your child is experiencing severe facial or oral trauma, please seek immediate emergency care at a hospital emergency room.

Evaluates pediatric patients experiencing an urgent dental problem which may have symptoms that require immediate attention by a dentist. A severe dental infection, visible swelling, or recent dental trauma are examples of emergency problems that require prompt, professional attention.

Eligibility: Anyone under the age of 18 experiencing a dental emergency.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

If you have a dental emergency during non-business hours (after hours, weekends, or holidays) please call 412-440-2239 to speak to the dental resident on call.

Intake Procedure: Call to schedule an appointment.
Helpful Tips: Appointments in the Emergency Clinic are for evaluation only. Individuals may be rescheduled to return for dental treatment.
Fee Amounts: The fee for emergency consultation is $35. Any radiographs or dental treatment will be at an additional fee.
