An educational service agency that provides special education programs and services to children whose home districts are unable to provide them. Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit provides services to 14 school districts and 2 career and technical centers in Carbon and Lehigh Counties.

School age program provides a continuum of supports and services to eligible school age students with special needs from kindergarten through age 21. Additional programs include the traumatic brain injury school re-entry program, specialized transportation services and extended school year program.
