Center for Community Resources - Mental Health Evaluation and Service Coordination
As Butler County's Base Service Unit (BSU), Center for Community Resources works to ensure that individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse needs are getting the services they need. Service Coordinators collaborate, coordinate and make referrals to providers from various systems - Mental Health, Drug & Alcohol, Criminal Justice, Hospitals, Employment agencies, Medical Assistance and other government agencies. They also provide clinical assessments, identify providers of desired services in requested locations, organize services so they are easy for individuals and families to use, and make referrals to psychologists and/or psychiatrists who evaluate adults, adolescents and children to determine what level of services and supports are needed.
