Sights for Hope - Monroe
Provides services and programs to individuals who are blind or visually impaired, enabling them to lead rewarding and productive lives. The programs and services available include:

Client Support: Individualized casework services, one-on-one training and assistance, and support groups.

Vision Rehabilitation: Vision rehabilitation therapies, orientation and mobility training, access technology instruction, and personal counseling.

Low Vision Specialty Care: Exams from a Low Vision Optometrist that determine magnification needs and sales of devices that maximize existing sight.

Escorted Transportation: Door-through-door transportation services that provide access to critical medical care, food supplies, and agency programs. $3.50 each way Activities and Classes: Life skills classes, socialization events, recreational activities, physical activities, and a Camp I CAN! summer program for kids.

Vision Screenings: Free screenings for children as young as 6 months with state-of-the-art technology that does not require the ability to read or speak.

Community Education: Eye health and safety programs for diverse audiences and appearances at public events.
