Managing a chronic illness or treating an acute condition often requires medications. Centre Volunteers in Medicine is able to supply medications to our patients at no cost. We also offer medication education so that our patients understand the importance of the medication and why taking it as prescribed is important. We obtain medications by:

Processing Patient Applications to “Indigent Drug Programs” Offered by Pharmaceutical Companies
Purchasing Bulk Quantities in conjunction with Mount Nittany Health
Paying for medication at Partner Pharmacies when needed

Eligibility: Centre County Resident or uninsured individuals working in Centre County by living in neighboring counties that do not have free clinics or other programs to meet their medical needs. Client/family income below 250% of the federal poverty level ($29,700/year for an individual, $60,750 for a family of four). Not covered under any other health insurance plans
Hours: Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Fridays, 8:00am to 4:00pm
