Children's Museum of Pittsburgh - MuseumLab After School
After School at MuseumLab is a free program for middle school youth, focusing specifically on social justice through arts and making. Join us to tackle current issues that affect you, while learning from museum and community artists and activists. Together with your peers, we’ll learn new arts processes and practice a commitment to positive change in our world.

Tackle personal projects, build friendships, amplify your voice, become a youth leader at MuseumLab!

Pittsburgh, PA 15212
Eligibility: If you’re a middle schooler in Pittsburgh who is curious about using art and making as a tool for creating change, this program is for you. No previous experience is required—simply a commitment to making our world a better place and an enthusiasm for arts and making are needed.
Hours: The After School program will be virtual through 2020.

We plan to transition the program to in-person meetings in MuseumLab starting in 2021.
Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday*
4:00-5:30pm

Because the After School program builds over time, participants must commit as much as possible to attend all three days each week, whether virtually or in person.
