Coatesville Youth Initiative - Brandywine Watershed Discovery Day Camp
The BWDDC A week-long day camp featuring a variety of nature/environment-related activities. The curriculum for the camp includes environmental, science, history & cultural education activities, wildlife study, water study, outdoor play, exploration of natural areas, field trips and team-building activities. The camp runs rain or shine. Each day, from 9 am-4 pm, youth will engage in hands-on, activities which are designed to help them learn about the science, culture, history and fun of the Brandywine Creek, The Brandywine River Valley and the Brandywine Watershed. The Camp runs annually, in late June from 9am to 4pm daily. Campers meet each day at the Coatesville Youth Initiative, located at 545 E Lincoln Highway, 19320..

The camp is a part of CYI’s “Gems in Your Backyard” philosophy, where local youth are encouraged to explore, discover, appreciate and protect hidden gems that are present in their own back yards (local community).
