CEO - WilkesBarre - Supportive Services for Veterans Families (SSVF)
he Department of Veterans Affairs has funded a supportive services grant to CEO to help end veteran homelessness by providing housing stability to homeless and at-risk veterans and their families.
The goal of the SSVF Program is to promote housing stability among very low-income Veteran families who reside in or are transitioning to permanent housing.

Support outreach, casemanagement and other flexible assistance to rapidly re-house Veterans who become homeless or prevent Veterans from becoming homeless.

Eligibility: To become a participant household under the SSVF Program, the following conditions must be met:
Eligible veteran is a person who served in the active military, naval or air services and who was discharged or released under conditions other than dishonorable. A Reservist can also be considered eligible if activated during "War time" or in a "State of Emergency" and deployed out of State. Veteran must have a qualifying DD214 form or other VA approved documentation.
Income guidelines: Household income does not exceed 50% of area median income.
