Chore Services are available for Wyoming County residents, age 18 to 59 years who have an income below 125% of poverty guidelines.
Types of eligible chore activities include: home safety/security (installation of handicapped and safety rails for tubs, toilets, stairs. Installation of deadbolt locks, repairs to broken windows), handicapped adaptation (modification of thresholds, installation of handicapped toilets, ramps, stair glides), minor plumbing repair (assistance to resolve water leaks, replacement of water heaters), minor electrical repairs, and minor carpentry repairs (replacement of broken steps).
