Consider visiting our website to see how your help may be best used. Thank you for your patience and understanding. --- COORDINATED ENTRY SYSTEM WALK-IN SITE: is the Cumberland County's approach to organizing and providing housing services for people experiencing homelessness. Access to the system can be gain through 211 system or through a walk in site. Community CARES is the only physical access site in the county. Because housing resources are limited, this process is designed to ensure that individuals and families with the highest vulnerability, service needs, and length of homelessness receive top priority in housing placement. (To better serve the county need, Community CARES also operates monthly satellite CES sites in partnership with two locates of New Hope Ministry in Lemoyne and Mechanicsburg and Katie's place in Shippensburg).
