Community Progress Council, Foster Grandparent Program
Program is a subsidized, National Service Program for low to moderate income adults age 55 and over. Participants are placed in classroom settings throughout the county, where they tutor special and/or exceptional needs children one-on-one for 15 to 20 hours per week.

Eligibility: Volunteers must be 55 years or older and not exceed 200 percent of the federal poverty guidelines. Participants must commit to serving 15 to 20 hours a week and submit to required background checks
