Communities that Care of Greater Downingtown- After School Mentoring Program
The BIGS After School Mentoring Program is a collaboration between the Downingtown Area School District, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Brandywine Area YMCA, Bishop Shanahan High School, and Downingtown Area CTC. It is a peer to peer mentoring program that matches high school students with elementary school students. We initiated this program in the Spring of 2002. The program is currently being offered at six Downingtown Area School District Elementary Schools.
