Provides post-hospital respite care for individuals who are recuperating from an illness or injury and require non-medical care/assistance (meals, ADA-accessible accommodations, etc.).

Eligibility: Adults (18 and older) who are either unable to return home safely or are experiencing homelessness and being released from a hospital.

No Megan's Law violations or history of violent crimes.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Intake Procedure: Call for details and to discuss needs.
Intake Requirements: Referral from physician's office or hospital social worker.
Fee Amounts: Services are provided free of charge.

Helpful Tips: The Orr Center provides a homelike setting and three meals a day to a maximum of 8 guests during the first few weeks after their discharge from the hospital. Guests also receive case management.
