-Stop, Drop & Roll: Developed with the support of local fire departments, this program has raised awareness for 250,000 children on how to prevent burns and give them a simple and effective way to respond if their clothing catches fire.

-Cooking and Kids: Designed for pre-teens to introduce fire and burn prevention in a developmentally appropriate way, the program capitalizes on new skills and the enhanced cognitive capacity enjoyed by adolescents.

-Juvenile Firesetters: Many burns are the result of intentionally set fires. The Foundation is recognized as an expert resource, delivering workshops and training sessions that address the dangers of juvenile firesetting to youth workers, teachers, foster parents and members of the fire services community throughout the region.

Thrift store and boutique sells gently used women's, children's, and men's clothing as well as shoes and accessories including handbags and jewelry. Also, hosts Cinderella's Closet once a year in March, offering students gently used prom gowns.

Operates a ten-unit scattered site transitional housing program for homeless women with or without children. Clients coming from the Center's Emergency Shelter or the Women's Resource Center Shelter receive rental assistance and supportive services while residing in scattered site apartments. Services include: case management, assistance in acquiring safe housing, rental and utilities assistance for up to 12 months, life Skills training and goal setting, furniture and household items, emergency food and clothing, art therapy, counseling and legal services, assistance with job training and education, linkages to community agencies, and recreational opportunities.

This service relies on donations given by generous folks in the community.

Children of pre-qualified families receive new backpacks, new clothing and new school supplies.

Second Avenue United Methodist Church graciously accepts children's clothing donations of new and gently worn clothing items. These clothes are provided FREE to any child in need.

Provides a clothing bank for children and adults in need. Donation opportunities are also available.

Program allows families requesting assistance to provide a "Wish List" for each child of much-needed items, such as clothing, warm blankets, gift cards, and toys. Sponsors volunteer to "adopt" a child or children for the holiday season. Sponsors can be as creative and generous as their time and resources allow. Screening referrals for the WALY Warmth program sponsored by the WALY 103.9 radio station and Forever Media. Program provides winter clothing for local children in need. Children are taken on a shopping trip in early December with staff and their parents to pick out clothing and other winter garments they need the most

Helps custodial and non-custodial fathers 18+ with no HS diploma/GED in getting a job, with the goal of enabling them to actively participate in the care and raising of their children. Offers GED preparation, job readiness, training and placement, computer skills, mentoring, and transportation and clothing assistance.

Provides transition kits for foster families and children which include basic supplies like toiletries, clothes, winter clothes.

Provides support to MOMs and assisting them with adjusting to their new role. Membership is open to all mothers and expectant mothers of multiples.

Sponsors family parties and events, playgroups, age-appropriate activities and outings for MOMs and children, MOMsâ nights out, education programs and semiannual clothing and equipment sales. They also provide an array of member resources to keep MOMs well connected.

“Transition Kits” for foster families and children. The kits consist of clothing, toiletries and other basic items, and are created based on the ages of the foster children in need. The Fiaria Project distributes these kits for free to local foster agencies and related organizations, which then identify foster families that need the kits during or after child placement.

Provides support and knowledge for mothers of twins, triplets, quads and quints children. Group is also open to parents expecting multiple births. Literature, speakers, socials, bi-annual garage sales featuring clothing and equipment.

Final Salute meets the unique needs of homeless women Veterans by providing them with safe and suitable housing.

The H.O.M.E program provides transitional housing, on-site case management, food, clothing, transportation, child care subsidy/assistance, employment support and other essential supportive services to homeless women Veterans and their children.
S.A.F.E.: The purpose of S.A.F.E is to prevent homelessness by providing emergency financial assistance.
Stand Up: The Stand-Up for women vets program provides support for women veterans and military women in transition.

The H.O.M.E program provides transitional housing, on-site case management, food, clothing, transportation, child care subsidy/assistance, employment support and other essential supportive services to homeless women Veterans and their children.

We collect new or gently used children's clothing & deliver it to Saint Joseph the Worker church in Williamsport

Provides Holiday assistance through:
- Angel Tree: Provides Winter clothing and gifts for children ages birth to 12 years. Gifts are purchased by individuals in the community. Families sign-up throughout October during a face-to-face interview.
- Angel Tree Senior and Veterans: Provides seniors and veterans with small needs that they may have.
- Adopt-a-Family: Families are identified and sent to local agencies and groups wishing to meet the needs of the family beyond toys for the children for Christmas.

Representatives from Safelink Wireless and other community resources are regularly on site and available to provide information and offer assistance.


Donations are accepted starting at 9am on the fourth Saturday of every month.

Clothing closet providinf Infant, Children, Juniors, Men's, and Women's clothing for those in need. Also hats, gloves, scarves, jackets and coats, socks and shoes
. Two complete outfits per person in the household is allowed.

Sells clothing and household items. Clothing includes babies, children, teens, men, women, and larger sizes. Household items includes shoes, puzzles, toys, baby equipment, jewelry, books, and more. Periodically "cleans out" the shop and donates excess clothing to agencies, shelters, etc.
